This collage took me a few weeks, a little at a time, but it turned out to be one of my favorite decor pieces of our house!
I had a blank canvas of white brick in our entryway and thought it’d be the perfect place for a collage.. I started collecting different pieces that I thought would work and it really came together!
Here are a few items I used..
I bought multiple wooden laser-cut frames from Michaels on clearance (all around $2 or less). They have other varieties there now
Love mirror from Hobby Lobby (Orig. $15.99 – bought at 50% off)
12″ Bronze Polystone Letter from Hobby Lobby Orig. $9.99 (used a 40% off coupon) – I painted it using Aqua 481 FolkArt
Wooden words from Michaels ($1.99/ea)
Cross from Hobby Lobby Orig. $11.99 – Purchased at 50% off
Handmade Anchor Art (see my tutorial here)
I decided to start with this frame and letter on the wall and go from there..
I used Scotch Foam Mounting Double-sided Tape and cut small pieces to place items on the wall
(I would not recommend this if you’re putting it on dry wall/paint – It is VERY sticky and would most likely tear off your paint/drywall if you had to move it – Something similar and wall safe would be 3M 109 Wallsaver Removable Mounting Tape)
Love mirror from Hobby Lobby (Orig. 15.99, on sale 50% off), Canvas print (Tutorial coming soon!), Laser-cut wooden frame from Michaels (Clearance $1.99) painted with Medium Gray 425 FolkArt, “Malma” black square mirror from Ikea ($1.99)
Round turquoise mirror from Hobby Lobby (Orig. 19.99 on sale 50% off), “Whatever is True..” word art from Hobby Lobby (Orig. 5.99 on sale 50% off)
Laser-cut frame from Michaels (Clearance $.79) painted with Aqua 481 FolkArt, Simple black frame from the Dollar Store, Handmade Anchor Art (see my tutorial here)
Live, Laugh, Love wooden words from Michaels $1.99/ea painted with Seamist 2486 FolkArt, Round laser-cut frame from Michaels (Clearance $.79) painted with Seamist 2486 FolkArt, Wooden 4×6 Frame I had lying around painted with Calypso Sky 524 FolkArt, (Notice I moved the “Whatever is True..” word art because there were too many small pieces at the other end, I balanced it out)
Chalkboard board (Handmade, Tutorial coming soon!), J&A letters from Michaels $.99/ea, Wedding canvas picture (Tutorial coming soon!)
Cross from Hobby Lobby (Orig. $11.99 – Purchased at 50% off), Rectangle laser-cut frame from Michaels (Clearance $1.79) painted with Medium Gray 425 FolkArt
Wedding & Honeymoon pictures added to the frames.. and it’s finally finished!!! What do you think???
